Drought

 The current drought facing Northern Victorian dairy industry is unprecedented.  For the first time ever we have all irrigation systems (Goulburn,Murray, Campaspe and Broken) on extraordinarily low water allocations. 

Having just gone through the 2007-08 drought as well as 10 years of dry conditions before this, farmers financial and fodder reserves are depleted.

Outlined below are support measures for farmers offered by Federal, State and Local Government:
